Good Monday morning Friends!

How was your weekend?  Mine was good a little tiring, but very good!  This little card was made as our first intro – card so to speak.

The class made up of new stampers and I love new stampers because there is a lot of Ooohs and Aaahhhs!  So stinkin’ cute!!

I hope you enjoy my little card here today, there will be more to come! Stay tuned!

Fancy Fold Friday

Good Morning Friends!  How cheerful and blessed I am this morning!  Why?  Not sure yet, but I'm so glad to be awake in the crisp, cold, frigid temperatures  that Colorado has sent my way!   Brrrrr!  Baby, it's cold outside!  But my heart is warm!  Whoo Hoo!

Here is a cute little card for my Fancy Fold Friday.  It's a Z-Fold card and I've used one of my favorite colors for this winter, Lost Lagoon!  I thought it came out kinda cute!

What do you think?

Thanks for visiting me and stay tuned for more creations!

Jingle Bells, Jingle Bells!

Good Morning, today is going to be ear marked Sunday Share day.  Happening every other Sunday.  I'll be sharing a scripture and then my project!
So, here we go...

Friday I was at work and my co-worker walked in the office and said, her mantra for the day was Romans 8:28.  And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.  Quickly we both said "all things means all things!" Sometimes we get so caught up in the hustle and bustle of a holiday season or even just life on it's own.  We see things happen and we wonder - all things Lord?  Yes, All things.  God is in control of all.  and I love him so - regardless of what I may be going through or see that I cannot control...It is all good!  He knows my name....He hears my every thought...(I love that song!)

Well here too is my project for today's Sunday Share!

Christmas Is Coming! ......

So what do you say after someone says "Christmas is coming!"??  I always say....The goose is getting fat!  I don't know....maybe that's just how I grew up!  I have always remembered that little song - Christmas is coming - The goose is getting fat! Please put a penny in the old man's hat!  Is it just me?

Anyway, I have a Christmas class coming up and this is what we will be making, well not the exact same thing, but something similar! It's a Jingle Bells Tags, Bags & More class!  I'm so excited!

I hope you are having a wonderful day so far! I am, because it's Friday and in a few more weeks....it will be Black Friday!  Oh and what do we all do?  (well alot of us) do?  Shopping!  I can't wait! If you are in search of some Stampin' Up goodies I'll have some posted here and as always you can shop in my online store too!

Well here is a stinkin' cute sample of my tags.  These were my prototype, so to speak.  What do you think?

Thanks for popping in and seeing my creations!  I'll be back with more!

"Retro Thursday" - A blast from the Past!

Today, I’m featuring a card on my blog that takes me back.  Not that far of course, but for all those retired products that we had to say good-bye to.  I thought I’d start a Retro Thursday piece on my blog!  This paper is from the fresh prints paper pack we had a while ago for Stampin’ Up! Beautiful paper, but now added to the “beautiful paper – gone to the retired pile – stash!”

So, what better way to use up my scraps then to have a day devoted to sharing some old paper or products?  In comes “Retro Thursday”.   I really do have a lot of paper, DSP (designer series paper) that I would like to use on some projects, but always want to stay current to show you the Newest that we have to offer!
With Retro Thursday, I can just post a card (or two) that I’ve done that shows how pretty our papers have been and continue to be!  Thanks for looking and if you have time feel free to follow me!

Fall Pretties For The Season

Considering that it is snowing in the mountains, I have to sit back and appreciate the fall smells and feels here in Denver.  The leaves changing are a thing of the past.  The cool air is now COLD!  I'm looking in my closet for all the winter clothes, I had so nicely stored away.....Oooh fall, where did you go?

Well, here is my last tribute to my favorite season.  Fall.  This little card is just the type to warm my heart and get me ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas.  My most favorite holidays!  Take a peek and let me know what you think.  What's your favorite Holiday of this season?

Thanks for visiting me!

I'm trying to figure out how to do a video so I can do some tutorials real soon.  Stay Tuned!

Letterpress Winter Gift Card Tutorial

I did a blog hop the other day with my team.  The Inking Everything Blog Hop! It was a blast!  I have had some requests for the triple time stamping and for these cute little gift cards.  I thought I'd start out with the gift cards as I had them fresh in my mind!  Here is my first free tutorial!  I hope to get them done online. On my YouTube channel, but for now this is my very first tutorial!  Hope you can follow along.  If you have any questions, just let me know!
Here we go! Here are the tools you'll need to get started.  Please forgive my crude tutorial.  It's my first so bare with me!
Cardstock: 6 3/4 x 4 1/2
DSP: 1 1/2 x 3 3/4
Belly Band: Optional - 1" x 6 3/4"

You start off with a 6 3/4 x 4 1/2 size sheet of cardstock paper. Use your bone folder or your stampin trimmer to score your cardstock @ 1 3/4x 4 1/2. Score these marks with the 6 3/4 side At the top of the trimmer.

Then turn your paper to the 4 1/2 side and score again on the both sides @ 1/4".

It  should look like this when your done scoring.

Use your score tool to make nice sharp crisp folds! I love my bone folder!

Next, you're gonna make some cuts.  Just along the sides where you scored @ 1/4".  Cut along all the sides EXCEPT where you are going to make your pocket for your gift card.  Also, cut in a little diagonal just so that the folding in goes real smooth!

Now score those sides that you have left and apply green glue or Tombow glue.  This is the sticky stuff!

Now fold that part up and make a little pocket like this! Easy peasy right?

You can then add your layer (1 1/2 x 3 3/4" DSP) or what ever color paper you like.

There you go! My first Tutorial!  If you have any questions, let me know!

I want to do that for Christmas too!  Well, that's my hopes.  I'd want to make these for sure! (Hint: I DID make these)

Well, I'm hoping you are having a wonderful Monday and that your day is blessed!
