My Open House - New Beginnings

I had my open house on Saturday.  May 23, 2015.  It was really nice except that my phone died and I had to rely on others to get pics for me. I totally forgot my charger.  Well, I had people come and go and some stayed for a while and others came, popped in and then left.

At the end of the day, it was good to get my name out there.  I always enjoy meeting new people and I want to thank "Michelle"  from the bottom of my heart, for coming and making this card with me.

She was a new stamper and loved almost all of my other cards and she asked if we could do one together.  I said sure.  But I don't end the Open House til 5, so she hung out and visited and asked a ton of questions!  Eventually, things started to die down - "the buzz" and we sat together.  She told me about how her dr. had just given her 6 months to live and that was about 2 months ago.  I didn't know what to say.  She started to tear up and say that she is getting her affairs in order and just wanted to make a simple card.

I shut the door and this is the card that we made together.

I didn't have all my supplies with me and the rain deterred some folks, but I TOTALLY believe that God will send who he wants when he wants.

Thank you for listening and sharing with me.
I will do many open houses - even if it's only for this reason.
To God Be The Glory..

Thanks for stopping by!

Rain, Rain go away!!

Good Morning Friends! I'm so over this rain. Yesterday I was challenged to use 2 colors that I don't use that often. I have used this basic grey in a few other cards and I think it's beginning to grow on me. Red is just not my most favorite color. Some of you who have been to my blog know what my favorite color is!! Yep, it's all over the page!

Well, have a beautiful day and I hope it's sunny where you are!
As always thanks for visiting me!

My Dove Favor Boxes!

Good Morning Friends!  Happy Monday!  My share with you today are these cute little boxes.  How darling are they?  I didn't spend much time one them at all.  They are made with the scallop punch and so easy to make!
I saw this on Pintrest and thought I'd CASE:

Here are the instructions:

You need to strip 2 2 '' x 9 1/4 '' and punches it on both ends of the paper.
Then fold both strips on these score lines:  1 1/2 '', 3 1/2 '', 5 1/2 '' and 7 1/2 '' inches.

After that put the two strips centrally together on top of each other. The center scores. and then close!  Easy Peasy!
Run your ribbon through the top closure that is punched when you punch the scallped edge for the loop.
