Today we are going to discuss the Top 3 - yes count em' One...Two...Three elements of an easy card.  "What makes this card so easy?" You ask?

Number 1:  Your card base is one color and not very busy!

(with a tiny alteration) and BELOW: this is one that I came up with on my own.  Just used a small piece of my own paper.
Thanks for stopping by and joining me! Don't forget to watch the video below for and if you have any questions just let me know!

Grateful For You - Treat Bag

Good Morning friends! Yesterday was quite the day as far as the weather goes! It was amazing - the hail and the flooding! Unbelievably loud too! I've never been in such a storm before! The wind was blowing like I was in a hurricane, which I've been in a dozen or so of them!  But I'm so glad I made it home! To God be the Glory!
I decided to do something for one of the ladies at my job who is just so sweet to me.  And as you know, I never make just one! These are goodie bags or Treat bags that you can put candy in or maybe a little candle - a tea light candle, or what ever you like!
They were so easy, I"ll be doing them again for sure! What do you think? Maybe for different holidays with a theme? Especially Christmas?

The paper I used was Bohemian DSP and green glue really! If you want more details, just ask!

Oh, I also made a video tutorial for you! I thought that would be easier to follow along then pictures.  I'm no pro at them YET, but I'll get there! I hope you enjoy and to give credit where it is due...these little baggies came from a tutorial from Angie Juda Kennedy aka "Chic n scratch"! She is just amazing and I couldn't hold a candle to her awesomeness, but I was able to make this little bag from her tutorial.

Thanks Angie, and blessings everyone!

Flower Patch - Blooming Birthday!

Good Morning friends!  It's a beautiful day here in Denver.  Hot, but so pretty outside! I'm done with my local swaps and now I'm going to focus on my Convention swaps!

I'm so excited about packing up and heading out to Utah! Who says that? LOL!  But that is where Stampin' up! has their home base! Riverton, to be exact!  When we go to convention, we have all of our classes sand workshops at the Salt Palace Convention Center. My favorite place to eat when I'm there is Kneeders! I love that place, they have a Turkey sandwhich that is so AWESOME!! Love it!

Well, anyhoo...here's my card.  I hope you like it!
Oh, anyone care to share what you're big summer plans are?

Just Lovin' Cupcakes

Good Morning Friends!  Happy Monday, I just thought I'd share this cute cupcake card...LOVE CUPCAKES! Can you see the glitter? That's my version of sprinkles. I don't do sprinkles very well.
Love cupcakes though! I think the best part of the card is the sentiment. I thought it was just too cute!  Let me know what you think about it.  I have such a hard time coming up with creations for this stamp set.  I think it's because ....well, I just really don't know! But I hope you like the creations, I have done so far!  Hee Hee!

Macron vs. Macroon!

Hi everyone, I'm still working on my swaps and they are coming along just fine!  I've got a lot to get through, but it's just so fun! I love swapping!

Today, I thought I'd go over the difference between Macron and Macroon.  Since we have the ink color Mint Macron,I thought I'd explain a thing or two! Well, there has been some talk about what the difference is between the two and I want to make it plain what that is!  This all stems from our new in color called Mint Macron!  Immediately people began to call it Macroon.  So I wanted to make sure I knew the difference and said it in my videos too.

Here is our ink color: Mint Macron:

You know I'm all about color and these little cuties are so cute and colorful!  These are Macrons too!

These, however are Macroons!  See the difference?
Every now and then you'll get a little tidbit from me!  Just sharing the things I love!

I have come to realize that the more I see...the less I know!  Thanks for visiting me today! Come back and see me!

Case My Card!

"Case My Card" so, I'm busy making swaps and having so much fun! You really should join me one day! I wonder if this is a card that can be easily cased?  Can you case it?

I think I'll start a series, once I'm done with my swaps called - "Case My Card!"  How fun! Tell me what you think! Should be easy peasy right?
If you actually do case this card...let me know! I'd love to see what you come up with!  Are you up for the challenge? Can you case it? Yes....You can!

Here are the ingredients to make this card:

Swapping Cards With Friends! June Swaps

Do you know what swapping cards is?  It's when lovely ladies (and sometimes men) get together and swap their card creations with each other!  it's really fun!  We stand in line and each one swaps one!  I'll have pics later on of what was created from some very talented people!

Hopefully, soon I'll have a pic of my June swaps and then my July swaps! & Team swaps, oh my!

I'm getting ready for all those and THEN I have my convention swaps!
So, I don't want to just make a short little post, but that's exactly what it's going to be.  Short and sweet.  Just to give a heads up that if I'm not online, it's because I'm working on my swaps, and I will come back and share once they are done, ok?

Be Humble, but Confident

I thought I would share something I found online about POWER and what SUCCESS should look like: Enjoy your stay and read on....
Like any career skill. Here are 10 steps that can have you operating from a place of power:
1) When in doubt, act. It’s the difference between running and stagnant water. When you’re stagnant, doubt and insecurities breed like mosquitoes. Dale Carnegie wrote that “inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage.” Fear of failure can paralyze us, as we almost always overestimate the consequences. Build your confidence instead by taking action, often.
2) Do something outside your comfort zone each day. If we don’t stretch our comfort zones, they shrink. Constantly challenge and improve yourself, and you’ll become comfortable doing new things—and you will establish your identity (both to yourself and others) as someone who takes risks. Each new thing you try adds to your knowledge and skill base, and provides you with a foundation of competence. This is the bedrock of any successful career.
3) Put the focus on others. Choose to be conscious of others instead of self-conscious. Ask people questions. Turn conversations into a game where you try to find a connection with the other person. Give compliments generously, and volunteer to help others when you can. Looking for the best in others will help you see it in yourself.
4) Cultivate mentors. Their advice and connections are invaluable, plus you will make better decisions about opportunities thanks to their objective assessments of the pros and cons. And you will be much more willing to take risks knowing you have supporters who will help you get back up on your feet if you fail.
5) Keep self-talk positive. It’s hard to feel confident if someone puts you down all the time. It’s impossible if that naysayer is you. Watch how you talk to yourself. Is it how you would talk to a friend? If not, then make a change.
6) Eliminate negative people from your network. You absolutely need to invite and be receptive to constructive criticism if you want to grow as a professional and as an individual. But recognize that some people will never be happy with you or with life, and it is a waste of time to try to convince them of your worth.  What’s more, their sour outlook on life is contagious. Learn to identify these people quickly, and move on.
7) Take care of your health. Make time for exercise, and get enough rest. Your body must be physically ready to take on challenges.
8) Do your homework. Keep up-to-date on the news in your industry, and know your company and department inside and out. If you have a challenging task ahead, prepare and practice in your mind. Nothing builds confidence like knowledge and preparation.
9) Watch your body language. Your posture and overall appearance affect both your mental state and how others perceive (and thus respond) to you. If you want to be a leader, you have to dress and act the part. Stand and sit up straight, make eye contact, and remember to smile. Wear the professional clothing of your industry. Eliminate the telltale signs of nervousness: excessive twitching, closed-off posturing (crossed arms and legs, hunched shoulders), and shallow breathing.
10) Practice gratitude daily. In a recent study of how successful people spend the first hour of each day, the No. 1 response was investing time in thinking about the things for which they are most grateful. Starting your day by saying “thank you” for the good in your life makes it more likely that you will approach the day’s challenges with the proper perspective.
