A Little Ornament

Good Morning friends!

It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! Do you remember that song from Mr. Roger's Neighborhood? If you don't it's cause you're too young! Or I'm too old! LOL

Well today I'm sharing a little ornament. I have seen the snow globe that we have with Stampin' Up! and that's one set that I don't have. So I decided to make an ornament instead. What do you think?

The back ground has the little glistening snow in it! Then you have the glitter trees..Wow! It sounds like I'm ready for the winter to get here! NOT! I can wait for that cold weather,  it always looks good from inside my warm house.

Christmas Treats - Unforgetable

Showing love and gratitude during the holiday season has always brought me so much hope and warm fuzzy feelings. I think that's why I love Christmas so much. Besides the fact that Jesus is the reason for the season. He's the main reason, not just that day, but everyday for me!

I made this little treat bag from one of our sets that's in the MAIN catalog, It's available NOW, if you'd like to purchase! You will not be disappointed with this one.

Here are the treat baggies:

All the supplies are listed below, the only thing is that the PomPom trim is not available until September 1st.

Project Life - Getting Started

So what is Project Life? It’s a super simple system to preserve your treasured memories: you just slip your photos and memorabilia into Photo Pocket Pages and add designed cards.
Let me start by saying that there is no one correct way to use Project Life by Stampin’ Up!®. You will find a way that works best for YOU. I will share how I approach each page that I want to create. I prefer 6x8 Variety pages to get me started.

Here's what you need:

By clicking on this link, Project Life,  you will see what Stampin' Up! has available.
  • Photos
  • An album
  • Pocket pages
  • Journaling pens
  • Card Collection
Here’s how to begin:
First, choose photos that you want to use on your first Project Life by Stampin’ Up!® page. A piece of advice here: select four photos that have the same layout: portrait or landscape. Currently Stampin’ Up!s photo pocket pages do not mix and match photo layouts - you have to either use all portrait or all landscape on your pocket page.

Second: Choose which photo pocket page you want to use. Hint: the 12x12 variety pack pages each have a number in the bottom left corner (01 - 06).

Third: Simply slide your four photos into the four photo pockets on your page.

Four: Go through your Card Collection box and find four coordinating pocket cards and slide them into the remaining pockets to complete your page.

Five: Add journaling if you choose cards that have spots to record your memories.

And that’s it! Your first page is done

I am in the process of creating a Project Life blog posts series, where I will share lots of ideas to enhance your pages and you can always come back and add more details at a later date.

But the important point here is to simply get started! I know that you are going to love your journey into Project Life by Stampin’ Up!® and to see how simple the system truly is - all you have to do is start!

Halloween is Coming! Inkin' Pretty Style

Good Morning Friends!  Today, I'm posting a cute little stamp from the 2015 Holiday Catalog! (You can purchase this starting Sept. 1st from me HERE) I loved that it was cute and simple, but still represented Halloween.

I'm not a big "Halloween" person, but I do love the treats and such and sometimes the cute little costumes that they come out with for the kids.

So here is my card: Tangelo Twist & Early Espresso are the colors I used.  I used the bows because I thought that regardless what a girl does for a living....she should do it in style. And everything in a girls life just ought to have Bows, Glitter and/or Sparkles! So...there you go!

Here's the Card:
And here is the treat baggie: I used the same stamp set, but with the Treat Bag Framelit and the cute little spiderweb.  All available on September 1st!
Thanks for visiting me!

"Thanks Kindly" For All You Do

So, for some reason I'm feeling kinda somber/blue/melancholy today, not sure why though.  The sun is shining and the air was crisp and cool.  I have my health and my family is all well, but I just can't shake the feeling that something just isn't right.  Have you ever felt that way?

Last night I made this card to let my friend know how much she means to me.  She is such a darling to me.  Even though her colors may be the green (old olive), I love the Pink (Blushing Bride) I added to it. She is a total "green" girl! I'm a "pink" girl!

So, for some good news, I am doing a craft show in October and I need to get ready for it! What should I do? I'm heading to Pintrest of course!

Here is my card..oops, I guess I could give you some details huh?
Stamp Set: One Big Meaning & Flower Patch
DSP Paper Stack: Pretty Petals 6x6
Ink: Blushing Bride & Old Olive
Framelits:Butterfly Thinlits
Punch: Banner Punch
Embossing Folder: Brick Wall
Embellishments: Pearls
