Merry & Bright Greetings

Oh, don't you love it when you can smell fall in the cool of the air?  I do.  I was at my demo meeting last night and usually we leave about 8pm well in the summer months - it was still light out at 8, but now, it's quite dark when we leave.  But that's another indication that fall is here and you know that winter is not far behind.

We're not supposed to get much snow, but it's supposed to be really cold this winter..  We shall see. I don't mind the snow I guess so much, but the COLD!  Whoo my bones just scream! I'd rather be a chocolate snowbunnie in the warmth of my home! - Watching the snow fall!  Oh, ok ..... now don't forget about the card right? Ok, well - here is a card I simply call "Merry & Bright"!  Thanks for joining me today!

Everything Fall - SF Blog Hop Time!

Blog Hopping with my friends!Welcome o the Stampin Friends Everything Fall Blog Hop! If you arrived from Deana‘s Blog, thank you for continuing with the hop!

So, to start off my blog post, I have a really fun fall card perfect for the fall season & a goodie box. I think I always want to have some goodies on hand to give to friends & family!  The stamp sets I used and the paper will be listed below!  I've also included a tutorial on how to make the goodie box!  Well, without further ado- here is my project!
Here is my tutorial on the cute little Gable Box:

First: Take a sheet of 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock…
And place into your Simply Scored Tool or your SU Paper Trimmer  – with the longest edge along the top – and make score lines at 1/2″, 3 1/2″, 5 3/4″ and 8 3/4 then turn and score at the short side on the scores lines at 3″ and 6 1/2″…(You can cut to the score line on the 1/2" scores to the middle.  So you have a tab like shown below:

Now using your you're gonna make 4 on each side – (a total of 8) from the edge to the center score line – it should look like the one above.'

Apply tear & tape to the areas shown.

Once you take the tear and tape off, fold down the longest tabs to the center like shown below: & go ahead and punch your oval punch in the center of the longest tabs.

Now fold the rest of your box together and don't forget to tuck your last tab in!
And there you have your box! All finished!

Fall Cards in Full Swing!

Today's post is on my love of the fall season!  I really do love to see it coming!  However, now that I'm in Colorado, I sure do miss being in New York and seeing the color change there.  I guess because I grew up there, I took it for granted how pretty it was!

So this card is just to remind me of the beautiful fall season about to happen here with the Aspen and the smell of the fall season back home! Thanks for visiting me!
Have a beautifully creative day!

Sweets for the Sweet & A Tutorial! Finally!

Good Morning friends!  Today, I am sharing the video that we talked about yesterday that held my cards for my blog hop project as seen below. But before that I wanted to share some goodies that we will be making at my class Saturday!! Whoo Hoo!
They are made with the tag punch and ribbon!  Easy Peasy right!

Here are the Measurements & Instructions: For your Early Espresso stock. My paper measures 2 x 5-3/4 inches (just a hair under 2 inches).  I scored at 2-3/4 and 3 inches.  Be sure to score BEFORE you punch the scalloped ends.  It's easier to line up on your scoring tool using straight edges instead of the scallops.Take 12" of the cherry cobbler ribbon and tie at the top of the scalloped tag punched cardstock with linen thread. Add your embellishment. Place a glue dot on the back of the Ghirardelli chocolate square to hold in place. And there you have it your decorated candy is delightful and oh so pretty to share!

So here is the project (the box) & the video for the box!
And just in case you need it - a template:
