Cool Treats Birthday Card!

Good Morning friends! I'm sharing a card made today for my very good friend's birthday! She's just as sweet as can be so, I think this card fits her best!

My colors are Watermelon Wonder, Early Espresso & Whisper White. What do you think?

One other TIP: {I forgot to add this} I used the framelits set and the fine tip glue pen {138309} to make the glossy look on the Popsicle.

5 days to Christmas!

Well, I've finished up my last round of Christmas cards orders! I've been doing them feverishly ever since Thanksgiving! Ha, ha! Don't we all get to the point where Christmas just sneaks up on us? BAM it's Christmas Day! No cards, dinner barely made and where did the time go?

My Christmas Cards!

Finally getting my Christmas cards done and out of the way! Whew! What a busy time of the year. Balance....that's what I keep saying to myself! Here's a snapshot!

I used the warmth and Cheer designer series paper for this set of cards and the sweater embossing folder. (got to get the correct name for that one!) But I remember this stamp set from last year and I wanted to use it so bad for tags, and never got around to it! So glad that it carried over! I'ts called Oh, What Fun! {140386}

Anything But The Holidays - Blog Hop!

Earning Alaska Blog Hop

Welcome to another "Earning Alaska" Blog Hop! Today's theme is Anything But The Holidays! And since the holidays are right around the corner - I thought this theme was just perfect! We are all so wrapped up in Christmas presents, eating, card making, eating, watching your favorite holiday shows & eating! Such a busy time of the year!

I have Christmas on the brain and this is the project I made at first because I could only think of Christmas! So this is TOTALLY Christmas! I so goofed on this one! But ....hmmm there you go!

This is a simple little gift card or stocking stuffer that can be filled with all different types of goodies! I chose these two, because again -I have Christmas on my brain, below...a different story. What we were actually supposed to create! Sucha goof! Want the measurements? Here ya go:

Made with the gift card framelits, but the paper is as follows:

2 1/2 x 3 3/4 for the layer

1 x 6 1/4 for the belly band

score it @ 3/4 and 3 1/2! Easy!

This is what we were supposed to do. Anything BUT the holidays. But we had to use product from the holiday catalog. So yeah! here you go!

Not that bad right? They really don't look like the holidays, except we know it's a stamp set from the holidays! Whoo Hoo! Here are the details: I used the designers series paper from the Paisleys & Petals suite. This was such a beautiful set for the fall!! I also used the stamp set from the holiday catalog called __ . My DSP was cut at 3 x 4 1/4 to fit across the bottom! and there is vellum in there. I thought was just to kind of give it a special touch, since it is a sympathy card.

So why not do something that's totally not Christmas or Holiday related? Here we go!

Join my card & a cuppa!

These classes are so fun and intamate, just a few ladies sippin' on some tea or a cup of Gingerbread Latte - I'm just sayin'! We had a darling time last night in bone chilling weather making 2 beautiful little Christmas cards! I didn't save the other one I made for some reason? But this is the first one we did.

Instructions: Take your card base {Pink Pirouette} @ 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 and fold on the score line. Your next layer is adhered right to the base in {Basic Grey} @ 4 x 5 1/4. Now pop up the {Whisper White} @ 3 3/4 x 4 on dimentionals. Make sure you emboss with the gentle falling embossing folder. The little trees and sentiment are cut out using the dazzling diamonds glitter paper and the Santa's Sleigh framelits. Last but not least, tie a pretty bow on the side with the Pink Pirouette bakers twine. That just makes this card totally girly! Love it!

Getting Ready for a Craft Fair!

Hello friends! Good Morning! Today I'm sharing a cute little project I found on Pintrest! When I say darling, I mean darling! Here they are! They use the largest jar from the Jar of Love set by Stampin' Up! and I'm gonna show you how to put the box together! {Check it out below} {142342}

How cute are they? Right! Now, before you think - this is not easy to put together, I want you to see how SUper easy they are to put together, ok? Here's a quick tutorial on how to do them. 1. you will need a 2 3/4 squared piece of cardstock. Mine is cut in Real Red. 2. Then score it on all sides @ 3/4 of an inch. You are 1/2 way there!

After you have scored and then folded on the score lines, then cut on either side up to the score lines. Either side is fine. Trust me!

Now all you have to do is put tear tape on the corner tabs and fold them together! Easy Peasy! Hey, if you have any questions about it, just let me know, k?
