A Little Thank You For Friends

Have you ever been through what seems to be a really hard time in your life and I mean just a real trying time.  You had someone helping you, and they did their best, but the outcome just wasn't what you wanted?

This is kinda the situation that my other half was in.  He has had problems with his shoulder and we have just been through the ringer with Drs and Dr. assistants, lawyers.  Bleh, bleh bleh {from Hotel Transylvania}This is what I think he always says! At least that's what he always says.
Anyway, I made a card to say thank you for the friends that helped us out and stayed in our corner.  I'm also entering this little card to the Global Design Project for this weeks challenge:
We are supposed to CASE this card from Connie Collins.  I tried a little.  She is super awesome and talented!  I love her style, too! Here is my humble submission:

January Paper Pumpkin - Oooh, Pretty!

Good Morning friends! My paper Pumpkin finally came and I just ripped into it and got started. I love it when they give you instructions on how to put it together, but I love it more when you can do your own thing and be creative! Here is my creative rendition of this month's Paper Pumpkin. I think you can also make candy pouches that use two of the hearts each.
 Here's what I did.
1. Cut my card base at 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
2. Cut the 1st layer @ 5 x 3 3/4 Now for the heart:
3. I sponged my edges with Watermelon Wonder & Soft Suede.
4. I stamped with the set that came along with the kit! Now for the glitter splatter
5. Before the splatter - put your stampin dimentionals on mostly the right side.
6. Then cut the heart. The rest of the heart hanging over the Soft Suede cardstock.
7. I also added some rhinestone gems too.

Now for the glitter splatter The glitter spatter was done by using "green glue" or Tombow glue & water. I used my aqua painter to splash it on my heart.
 8. Just tap on the brush and then add the glitter after you splatter the glue on the card.

The rest of the decorations are up to you! Hope you enjoy making them!

Here's a video on the Paper Pumpkin for this month!
Thanks for looking and visiting me!  Have a beautifully creative day!

Envelope Punch Board -Tutorial

Hello friends!  Here is a quick post on how to use your Envelope Punch Board. I made these cutie pie envelopes and you can too! The tutorial for the envelope is below! So, let's get started making these envelopes.  NOTE:  You can use these for your average 5 1/2 x 4 1/4 {A2} sized card. The tutorial is down below.  The paper I'm using is Sahara Sand cardstock,
So here we go on the tutorial, I hoped that it would be self explanatory.  But I don't mind going along with you! LOL.
Start out with an 8x8 size of paper. Cardstock or DSP. {designer series paper} & then score at the 3 1/2" mark. ONLY this one time, ok?
Don't forget that you're score tool is on the side on the right hand side.
Then go ahead and score after you punch.
Now, line up at the score line you just made.  Only at the score line you made, and not with the measurements at the top.  Then punch and score.
Keep doing the punch & score thing til you get all the way around.
It should look like this.  All sides scored and punched.
Then lastly, adhere and if you like trim the corners on the top of the envelope.
This is where you punch those little corners.
And there you have it! That's all there is to it for beautiful envelopes that coordinate with all of you cards! Love it right?
